My method involves a thorough cleaning of the car, which we perform in three different phases. This process effectively eliminates the oil, grime, and smoke smell. Everything is cleaned, from the headliner, seatbelts, floor, all fabrics, hard surfaces and cabin ventilation.

Our Smoke Odour Removal Process

1. Smoke leaves behind an oily residue that protects unpleasant odours, making it difficult for devices like ozone generators—a harsh method of odour removal—to effectively eliminate them. Therefore, our first step is to dissolve this protective oily coating.

2. Once that is done, we can use an ozone generator, although I personally do not favour them due to their harshness. Instead, I prefer using a chemical treatment that focuses on solvents. If the smell is particularly strong, we may resort to using an ozone generator, though I regret doing so afterwards.

3. For fabric surfaces, we utilise an enzyme shampoo, a fabric-safe solvent, and an acidic neutraliser. Seatbelts are soaked in a detergent to ensure thorough cleaning. 

4. Hard surfaces are cleaned and then treated to provide lasting protection. 

5. Additionally, we clean the cabin ventilation system, replace the cabin filter, and clean the windows.

We also provide services to various government bodies; however, we have agreements in place that prevent us from disclosing their identities (but we are on the supplier portals).
