Flooding and Water Damage Detailing in Penrith 

Is your car unexpectedly taking on water? This could be happening from the boot or the roof. Regular detailing won't eliminate the water, odor, or mold. If you're unsure whether this service is right for you, consider these questions: When you press your hand against the floor, do you see water rising up? An affordable approach to eliminating flooding water and tackling mould.
 

We have created this service to be as unobtrusive as possible (photo above). Ideally, we work by removing as little trim as possible so we can access under the carpet. We extract the water and ensure that it is isolated in this location. If the water has travelled to other footwells, we do the same process. Once all the water has been extracted, we use a fungicide, then use a powerful blow dryer to dry the area. The full car is detailed using our standard full interior detailing methods (which will kill mould and address odours). Our full interior detail cleans everything from the headliner, seatbelts, cabin vents, fabrics, hard surfaces, and carpet everything inside the car.

For both services, we will need the car for three days. Additional charges will apply for excessive amounts of rubbish

Full-price floor water and mould removal with carpet removal. 

While it is generally not advisable to completely remove carpet from your vehicle, we can do so if necessary (photo below). The reason for caution is that removing the carpet often requires taking apart the center console, which can pose risks to your car's interior. In most cases, we can lift the carpet on each side without needing to remove the center console, but we understand that some customers prefer to have the carpet completely removed.

Please note that projects of this nature typically take a few days and will start at $800. We only remove the carpet entirely if the car has been severely flooded, bogged down, or if there are concerns about the internal wiring. For larger jobs like this, we provide quotes on a case-by-case basis.
